Here I find myself pondering how to be a peacemaker all the while realizing I could appear to be anything but that.

I will speak my truth at any cost. I truly believe it is "none of my business what anyone thinks about me". I have no TV nor do I read the News Papers. Popular opinion has no place in my life nor do I have any voice for any organization that will be mention in this blog.

I have been volunteered for over 7 years with Polyhouse. A non profit foundation set up within the confines of Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo Ca. We usually do an "extreme" makeover of a single family home. The family we help usually has a family member that is handicapped in some manner.

You can check polyhouse.org for the overview of past projects. All have been such a blessing to me personally. To see the students lay down their lives and devote so much of their precious time to help a family they do not even know. They change the course of a families life all the while trying to manage their other classes and personal lives.

It is an exercise in true project management of time energy and resources. I could go on and on about the class and the awesome students, but that is not what this blog is about. This blog is about speaking my truth about what I have found out.

I am humbly offering my insights from the last 4 weeks of my journey as supervising contractor. On this journey I have met the most amazing people. In all levels of government and people on the street.
I started at the lowest level of Building and Safety to research what it would take to do "Polyhouse at Sunny Acres". As I followed the circular path to do my job. I ended up the top of our local Government, the Board of Supervisors.

I found that every person I talked with were supportive of our seemingly impossible task. To help Sunny Acres to meet the Court appointed receivers list of corrections so that the Homeless folks living at the clean and sober housing there would not be "homeless".

My journey started with a phone call from the professor about the possibilities of doing a 8,000sf home within the confines of the semester class. I did not know any of the players over the last 10 years. I only know of the progress from driving by over the years on my way to or from Los Osos and San Luis Obispo.

I met with the owner of the property Dan and spent what I thought would be a half hour that ended up being 4 hours. He was a broken man when I sat beside him learning his story of the ensuing battle with the County over Sunny Acres. I heard his depression, his anger, his tears, his dreams, his laughter, his sufferings, his victories, "his story".

In the end of that conversation he offered me his property for my vision. I refused as it was not the right location nor was it big enough for my dream. He then asked if I wanted to see the plans? I said "No". He ask what did I want from him? I said "nothing". He asked what did I want him to do? I said "smile". He lit up with a big smile and said "maybe he would not have to take so much medication now".

As I continued down the path to find if we could do this monumental project?  I found open minds and open hearts all along the way. I also was told we needed only 2 things from Dan to make this work. Cooperation and for him not to cause trouble. Almost every one agreed on one thing... Good Luck with that! Those are the two things Dan could not do. I said I did not believe in luck. They smiled and even one person with the county said "well then I wish you the best".

I though several times over the next few weeks and even told Dan "he was wasting my time". I told him we had another place we could go to work on as a back up plan. I told him "if this project fell apart it would be because of him and him alone". I also told him I would make sure everyone knew my truth. That the Community, the County, the Board of Supervisors, County Counsel, Cal Poly University, Polyhouse all were supporting this and that "we could do it all". The receiver's work. The Code enforcement work to clean up the property. The new 8,000sf home with 14 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
All within the semester time frame.

Here I am faced with exposing the reason, his dream is doomed to not come true.

The reason is one man's junk is more important than "his dream". I have 1st hand knowledge of his mind games he has been playing with the entire Community, the County, Polyhouse and the Press, KSBY and his mental illness. He is done having any voice for the "homeless from the creek" as he calls them.

I am exposing his abuse, his lies, his manipulation of so many good hearted people that just wanted to help. He is done!
He is just like a dripping faucet now. He is not worthy of anymore ears hearing anymore of his lies.

Let him go. Let him reap what he and he alone has sown. His fate is of his own doing and not at the hands of anyone else.

My prayer for him is that he tries to follow what he insist his Clients do the "twelve steps". I hope he in time before he dies has the heart to make amends to all those he harmed along the way because of his ISMS from Alcoholism.

The first day of the rest of our lives

Greetings America on this beautiful Easter morning. Here we are embarking on an adventure not unlike the one our forefathers did when they left oppression and set out for a better place to live in the new world.

This is a call to action. A call to stop BIG Brother from telling US what to do. From them spending our money on what THEY claim is best for US. Only they don't know what is best for US. Only WE know what works for US and WE get to choose our destiny and our fate.

I am only one man with one voice but I know I am not alone. Together WE can change to course of our lives. It has happened all over the world right in front of US. The difference is we can do it with words of Love spoken in TRUTH. The truth sets US free.

You ask what is this all about? What are these ramblings that sound so familiar. They sound like I have heard them somewhere before faintly, as in a dream. Listen to that dream. It is the same dream that has been dreamed for 1,000's of years by millions around the world. The difference WE are not around the world. WE are right here right now in the U.S.

It is time we wake up out of our slumber and remember the dream. Remember the good feeling we were having while in the dream. Lets US live the dream together. Lets US wake up and change the course of our own lives. Let US change the face of America through Education.

Let US show the world we can take the BEST care of US. We deserve the very best in life. We are the most POWERFUL people on earth. Each one of US has a voice and we have a truth. If we speak our truth one voice at a time and unite our voices WE will be heard.

This is not about what WE don't have. It is about what WE do have already. We can stop the craziness and then serenity will flow. It will cover US with mercy and grace and guide our steps as we speak our truth together.

I ask you to join with me and start speaking OUR truth to THEM and take America back from oppression and greedy leaders. It can and will happen. Watch and read and speak your truth to yourself 1st. Be honest and remember the ever so faint dream. Listen to it calling you ever so softly. It is the dream of all Americans to be free. It has been for 100's of years. 

It is time to tell the world we take care of ourselves 1st. Time to tell the greedy leaders THIS craziness has to STOP and it is stopping and it is stopping NOW.

WE have millions of Americans suffering in OUR own towns. On OUR own streets. These are the faces of the HOMELESS.  Millions are children caught in this epidemic of hopelessness and  despair.

Make NO mistake we are all just a few days away from homelessness. You say no way, like the CEO of a successful company, did a few weeks ago. If a natural disaster hits like in Japan or storms like back east. Or if there is a cyber war we will have nothing. No power, no gasoline, no stores, money will be worthless, nothing will work.  Soooooo

Lets start taking care of US and speak our truth. If WE unite together WE can do anything.
